Edward Scott

Senior Vice President – Development

Edward Scott is the Senior Vice President – Development for Excelerate Energy and is responsible for all ongoing global business development activities related to LNG import and export projects. These responsibilities include the contracting, permitting, design, construction, installation and commissioning of all port facilities as well as EBRV (FSRU) and FLNG vessel design and construction, and technical oversight of all vessel operations activities.

Prior to joining Excelerate full time, Ed worked as a technical consultant for the company, with primary responsibilities for oversight of the ship construction program at DSME, as well as the design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of the Gulf Gateway® Deep Water Port.

Previous industry experience includes the development of a Capital Projects Group for ENSCO International and leading this group in developing complex and technical solutions to industry demands for highly capable and reliable gas Exploration & Production assets.This effort included the highly successful design and construction of a new series of deepwater-capable semi-submersible drilling platforms.

Ed earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy in 1989.
